The most challenge part of this design is the pattern's realizing on an irregular oval egg surface, the 3d designer need to take a lot factors into consideration, such as the changing of curvature on the irregular surface.
Sourcing the star shape stones is also a challenge task, we've ask many stone suppliers from WuZhou, China, a very lovely mountainside city of gem cutting/polishing industry in some 400km west from us, and only a few of them are able to provide qualified stones constantly.
Also the plating combination is not easy to realize. We need to cover the rose-gold area to have the gold/rhodium plating completed and then after that we cover the opposite area to realize the rose-gold plating part...
